He should do the honourable thing and phone the Chairman to say "I gave it my best shot, but it didn't work out".

Enough is enough. I don't care how long his contract is for, he has to go. He should stick to being a TV pundit because he is clueless as a manager. If the BOD persist with him there is only one way we are heading! He has had ample opportunity to turn things round but he has failed miserably. For the good of the club he must be relieved of his duties with immediate effect.

Time is up for Marvin. The gamble has failed miserably as he has shown that he lacks managerial talent despite having the gift of the gab, ultimately falsely. We must now look to appoint an experienced manager who can get the best out of the squad we have before we end up in a relegation fight it.

It's funny what is being said about the manager. Caution was urged when building him up pre-season however he was still being touted as a future Real Madrid manager. That being said, to be fair to him, he has seriously been let down by the players as alluded to by fat fan. These charlatans are not trying a leg. Not being good enough is fair enough (which applies to some) however effort costs nothing. This whole "not playing for the manager" is garbage. Professional pride means you still try, particularly if you are being paid for the privilege.

There are probably three or four players worth the shirt which says it all.

Having watched the post match interview I have some sympathy for the manager but at the end of the day he signed the majority of the squad. Granted some of them are clearly not good enough but as has been mentioned before there seems to be a major attitude problem. Whether this is a result of not having respect for the manager I don't know but at the end of the day it is the club that is suffering. We now face a dilemma, sack the manager and hope that someone new can get results, the problem with that is are this squad actually capable of changing. I have seen enough games so far this season to have doubts that things will improve. Let's not forget the standard of teams we are currently playing against.
