Anybody playing this ?
I`ve been playing Fifa for many years,after being a fan of Pro Evo originally,Ive heard this "New" game is no better than last years Fifa,and in some ways is worse.
Not bought it yet as it`s too dear at the minute,is it worth waiting for ?

For what it’s worth, this is the first time in a while I haven’t bought it. From what I can gather, it’s no better than last year. If you want to buy it, there might a Black Friday deal somewhere, otherwise hold off until the Spring.

They’ve tried to integrate the women’s game into it which doesn’t really work.

Bizarrely you can assemble a complete team of women and beat a team that includes Messi, Kane and Mbappe

My opinion? Save your money

I don't mind the new FIFA or eafc24 as it's now called. This is the first one I ever bought on launch and that's down to getting sucked into ultimate team on the last one. Always previously just done a RUFC career mode.
No wonder kids get hooked on this opening player packs malarkey. It's the panini sticker book of the digital age.
I'm now fully sucked in to completing stupid challenges like assist with female German player, have 3 Saudi league players in starting squad and score a bicycle kick with a Brazilian defender. Can't win for s**t online but opening a virtual pack of players hoping for a shinny icon player to add to my virtual millers is a bit addictive.

Play wise it's slower paced and you need patient build up, females players add a bit of variety to the packs and in some ways give you more trading options if you don't want them in your team. New player auto position modifier is a welcome addition and the evolution of players finally enables you to have a few millers in the starting 11

Yes but those are fairly minor improvements, the main outcome of adding female players is to add ‘ padding” to the packs you mention, thus increasing the game profits for the developers.

Some of the females are so obscure that they could just as easily added Charlie Scoggins from the Dog and Duck playing in the Potatopak League Division 6 to achieve the same effect.
