West Ham, Sheffield Utd, Burnley and Boro’ now allegedly joining Birmingham and Brighton in chasing Cashin.

    P.S. Shouldn’t this have a ‘sticky’, AF?

I can't see us getting anything like the reported £4M bid from BHA in August that came too late to get through. Not even if there's half a dozen genuinely interested clubs in a bidding war. Contract up in the summer and free to go unless the 1 year option rumours are true.

If Derby have a 1 year extension clause then they can ask for the price they think represents his value, Cashin has to either accept that or get another year on the same wage. He could of course accept a new contract.

    I’m sure we do.
Cashin seems like a very genuine local(ish) lad who is appreciated by the fans.
Given the choice of being a mainstay of a promotion chasing League One side or (probably) joining the reserves or U23’s at a Premier League team I think, if I were Cash, I’d opt for the former at this stage of both the season and my career.
I guess the possibility of a sale and an immediate loan back might be appealing to all parties.

    P.S. Thanks, AF.

Ah but your forgetting the 10K per week uplift in his contract rA! That trumps any desire to play for a local team I fear.

Yes a sale and loan back until the end of the season would suit us fine.

Unless you're a KC, Swale, in which case he'd never forget it 😄
