Priority has to be defence.
Ideally
2 centre backs permanent.
Midfielder on loan - and maybe Gosling will stay.
Goalkeeper on loan - Anthony Patterson quality.

I think we got a bit lucky with Patto and him us, his development went through the roof and he was playing championship the following season.

Not so sure about that. If we can't control midfield to work LW's system, you could argue it doesn't matter what 3 defenders we put out there. Gosling could be off in 4 weeks and hasn't proven he can do a job yet anyway. Until he does we're wafer thin there and LW can't put a team out to play his way (it can't be Austin, he's already said as much)
