Lost on pens, should not have been in that position but having seen the highlights it was bad finishing anf good goal keeping, plus a two poor defensive moments (losing near post flick and Moult failing to simply put it out for another corner.... And Grimshaw getting skinned for the second by getting to close and leaving a way by him for the winger), I'd say one of those days to be honest and nothing bigger than that which is a good thing

Are those other Scottish clubs top of their division with the main focus on promotion? They'd be daft if so

Currently as we stand today having our best season in the second tier we've ever had, as I mentioned only currently bettered by Hearts 2014/15 this century, so better than Hibs and Sevco efforts, this may or may not tail off but shouldn't need to be that good to win unless Raith do something phenomenal and if they do then you hold your hands up

I don't say this lightly but more games for our rival then more distractions be it trust trophy or big cup, I feel that Hibs tie in our last promotion season kinda distracted us and our league form dipped a tad after as it went from back to the mundane league business and we were way in front with no task challenger, a potential Derby or say sheep tie etc would probably be a distraction best avoided this term

Hopefully fans stay positive for league business as nothing has been lost or gained, we are good enough to continue the unbeaten run and pick up a few important wins in December

End of the day it was a poor result , we should not be going out the Cup to QoTS with all due respect , missing numerous chances doesn’t make it any easier . As for calling for Goodwin to go , that is laughable just now given the start we have had to the season , to be changing manager after a couple of bad results means we should go through about 6 by seasons end , I dare say other clubs fans would say the same , that’s fans the world over , fickle at best , doesn’t mean they are right FACT

We'd have pulled out Bonnyrigg Rose had we gone through. Well done Utd. 👏🏼

Ah well, glad we went out to a league one club in that case as they'd no doubt have royally pumped us instead

Look on the bright side, free weekend in January to re-arrange a fixture should a game be called off before then. Can only be games against Dunfermline, Arbroath and Queens park though!

Nope. Draw numbers are allocated in alphabetical order. We'd have been no.14, in place of Falkirk.

Totally agree. We created a host of chances and on another day we would have won by five or six.Good goalkeeping and poor finishing were our downfall. It is slightly worrying that we are conceding more goals. Previous to the two cup ties I think Partick Thistle in the League Cup had been the only team to score more than one goal.
I also think that had Fotheringham played against Falkirk we might not have been out of that cup. He was very impressive on Sat.and but for their keepers performance he would have been MoM.
