    Charlton

Good as it gets when you are not scoring and telling it was a defender coming up with the goods.Charlton had done enough to win and will be disapointed with the draw.Good point for Carlisle and no gifts given this time thank goodness.

Every point counts given where we are. Unfortunately for Charlton they found that we don’t make it easy to score and that possession doesn’t always win games. Holy and the new lad were very good and the others all put in a good shift. And I had a great day!

I notice the gate was over 10,000 which is like the old days with Ray Train. Certainly better than the 4,500 you got when going well in div 4, did Charlton bring many?

I suspect not as they would have had to book flights, hire the Queen Mary, and for the last few miles, hire sleds and dogs. And set out the week before.

I write my own lines. Oh, and why did you have a great day griff, i suspect you cant tell the truth.

They brought around 940 Frank. I had a nice cheeseburger and chips, got a pint in a plastic beaker with the CUFC logo which I was allowed to keep, watched the Man Citeh v Liverpool game on the big screen in the FanZone, had another pint then went to my seat where there was a free flag for me to wave while the announcer read excerpts from Chairman Mao’s little red book. Then our new owners came out and laid down rules about hair length and compulsory donations from wages. The football was entertaining and we didn’t lose.

Some of this is true Frank.
