I was wondering how many of those 13 we had won. Can't be too many?!

Assuming that there are only 2 choices, i.e. playing at home or playing away and assuming that a previous away draw does not influence a subsequent away draw, then the chances of drawing 13 away is 1 in 8192. Rather small chance.

For perspective, the odds of being struck by lightning in US are 1 in 15300. So our odds of getting 13 away draws is more than half that of being struck by lightning. If we get a 14th away game - the odds of that - are greater than being struck by lightning.

There was a US Park Ranger called Roy Sullivan who was struck by lightning seven times during his life and survived every time. Additionally, his wife was once hanging out washing and when Roy popped out to help her, she was struck by lightning.
It is a strange world indeed.

Plaque at Hunstanton Golf Club - commemorates a golfer getting a hole in one at the same hole on three consecutive days - Robert Taylor in 1974!
