    Rotherham v Swansea

    Rotherham v Swansea Sat 9 Dec 15:00
Next to bottom club away from home is up next for our managerless Swansea. First team coach Alan Sheehan has been put in temporary charge, assisted by Kris O’Leary and Martyn Margetson, after Michael Duff and Martin Paterson departed last Monday.
Both teams are without a manager at the time of writing, but The Millers appointment of ex-Wigan manager Liam Richardson is imminent.
Rotherham sacked Matt Taylor after their 5-0 drubbing at Watford on 11 Nov.
    Rotherham last 6 home matches:
    P6 W1 D4 L1 F7 A8
    Swansea last 6 away matches:
    P6 W3 D1 L2 F11 A8
The Millers are without an away win in over a year and have two wins from their 19 games this season and scored 10 goals.
Their interim manager Wayne Carlisle has had 3 games in charge:
    Rotherham 1 - Leeds 1
    Hull 4 - Rotherham 1
    Birmingham 0 - Rotherham 0
I saw the Leeds draw and although Leeds missed some chances Rotherham gave them a hard game and they will be a tough prospect at home.

    FT:
    Rotherham 1 (Nombe 63’) - Swansea 2 (Patino 45’, Yates 72’)

Rotherham down to 10 men after 17’. Swans had many chances and should have scored more.
The Millers looked dangerous from sub Morrison’s long throws and from one of them they scored.

Harsh sending off for Ayala, but he had only himself to blame after the first silly card.
We had plenty of shots on goal after that and scored just on half-time with a Patino deflection of his shoulder.
They equalised in similar fortuitous fashion, Nombe didn’t know too much about his goal after the ball was headed onto him into the net.
A well taken goal by Yates sealed the win but there were a few scares with ex-Cardiff player Morrison causing us problems with his long throw-ins.

Well boys, not an easy match but the main thing is we got the three much needed points.
Rotherham last won nine matches ago, Swansea last won seven matches ago, it was always going to be tough.
Ayala sending off swung the match in our favour. Before that it was all Rotherham.
