Middlesbrough next up and it looks as if Alan Sheehan will get his third match as interim manager as there’s no news on a replacement yet.
It will be his toughest match so far after playing two managerless out of form teams on the road.
It was the battle of the Yorks when North Yorkshire met East Yorkshire on Wednesday night as Middlesbrough played Hull. They lost 1-2 after taking an early lead. It was their third consecutive home defeat. They’ve also lost their last two away matches 3-2.
Can Swansea turn around their poor home form with only two wins from ten games.
A season that had promised so much has been bitterly disappointing so far, with the new head-coach struggling and only lasting six months in the job. Poor results have left Swansea hovering just above the relegation zone.

Swansea 1 (Lowe 59’ ) - Middlesboro 2 (Greenwood 43’, Silvera 78’)
Swans rueing missed chances and the Boro taking theirs, the story of the game. We played much better than of late but couldn’t cope with Boro’s aggression or pace, they were too fast for us on the counter-attack. Their goal came when Fulton lost possession and it was in the net just before half-time, one shot and they were in through our leaky defence.
Lowe with a diving header for the equaliser second half but a mistake by Rushworth, picking up the ball from a Darling pass back gave Boro an indirect free kick a few yards from the line. We packed the goalmouth but Darling rushed out to stop the shot and left a gap at the near post for Silvera to fire home, a goal, and it proved to be the winner, leaving everybody hugely frustrated. Two home wins in 11 games is relegation form.

The tippy-tippy football, the lack of penetration from the midfield, the too-late substitutions, the strange substitutions.
Best players Bolasie, Patino and Cooper benched and coming on too late to make a difference.
We still should have won it for all the mistakes made.
Oh those missed chances, the game should have been sown up by half-time.

Did the ball take a deflection by their number 9 regarding the Darling pass-back. Rushworth seemed to think so, why else would he pick the ball up?
