Thread: Season so far

Wheels can’t be off the wagon if we are sitting in 4th and we are disappointed.

We have beaten Ipswich (twice) and Leicester so can’t be too shabby.

Some of the odd selection decisions need to be sorted out - I believe Bambi is 0 goals from 16 games - last night he offered pretty much nothing - he needs to be gone. I suspect he is our top earner too.

Cooper and Ayling seem to be blocking younger talent and there are three obvious gaps in the squad - a proper left back, a traditional striker and a creative 10 in the Pablo mode. Alcarez for Southampton was very good last night.

We seem to have periods in games where we go tippy tappy endless side to side loop without much penetration but on others we can slice teams open - a riddle that needs to be solved soon.

Not bad, great at home, rubbish away, away form needs fixing as Ipswich and Southampton aren't that far ahead of us in points, I feel we need a new RB and a new LB, Spence has gone, Byram as great as he's done is injury prone, Firpo isn't good enough defensively, gray and Shackleton are midfielders, hjelde is a CB, and Ayling is a yard off the pace now, Sutcliffe and Ferguson in the u21s look very decent fullback prospects but aren't good enough just yet
