Tremendous goal from Nev. However the goalie has contributed considerably to this loss of 2 points. But, Davies is not the only guilty party. A great 1st half, sharp and aggressive. What a contrast for the second. The Alex were flat and the removal of Billington for CBR made it flatter still.
Their 3rd goal came from the farting around at the corner flag. Why don't we play to win? We've scored a lot of goals from set pieces. Nev and White showed what could be done towards the end.
Makes you think as well, other teams can take advantage of the opposition going down to 10 men.
Other than scoring an excellently executed goal, I couldn't see why Rowe was given MOTM. Mickey was a little off colour today and seemed in some discomfort and tellingly didn't take any throws. For me, despite a less distinguished performance in the 2nd half, White was MOTM. For once Cooney had a decent cameo and Nevitt is the ultimate workhorse with added value. Tracey needs a rest and someone needs to tell him that the dead ball line is the end of the pitch as he seems to keep forgetting.

Yes and I suspect that's why Nev was having a go at him after the final whistle which led to both being booked. I think Luke just got the ball. IF LB agrees in slow motion as he said, we'll appeal.

Yes, Offord's tackle was at least 50-50. Stanley were falling about throughout the game and the player in this instance
was intent on tricking the ref into a card.
Agree about reaction to Mellor. Not only the fans as the Alex subs were all lining up to chat to him. (Did we get the best out of deal when Cooney replaced him?)
