Eddie’s position should not be in question. What he did last season wasn’t far short of a miracle and should be taken into consideration during this tough spell. He is not immune from criticism though. We were shocking again tonight and he is ultimately responsible for that. The players need to roll their sleeves up too and show the fight that we’ve become accustomed to. Wouldn’t be right to name names at this stage but there were a few i looked at tonight and questioned their attitude. It’s easy to perform when things are going well but you learn more about a man’s character when things are not going well. If i were Eddie I’d be privately questioning whether some of them have the guts to turn the corner. See if that sparks something into them
