Must be one hell of a lot if they can't field enough to start a game. Seems very unusual and should never be the case. Previously there's been cases where wholesale illness via food poisoning or Covid have been granted postponement but there's nothing to suggest that's the case here, it sounds like they're just running out of players, should never be happening.
They took the decison not to run with a reserve team this season due to cost. Teams in lower leagues than Arbroath are running with reserves, so f*ck them. Their choice. Deal with it.

I remember Middlesbrough v Blackburn when boro failed to fulfil fixture. Docked points and ended up relegated with Juninho and Ravenelii etc

Should be f*cking non league if they haven't enough players. They probably still have the hump with us because of the fixture amendment earlier in the season, oh and the f*cking hidings we've given them too

They were not happy about the switch to Friday at Tannadice but I didn't hear any complaints when the season opener was switched to Friday, maybe TV money and a sold out away end eased their pain.
Not a peep officially about asking for a call off Tuesday and surely they would of had to say by now, both clubs also promoting the sale of the remaining tickets so surely its going ahead with only the weather having a chance of stopping it but even that looks unlikely judging by the forecast which is not too bad

Don't think we'll see Gallagher. Doc is very close. If not tomorrow, I think we'll see him Saturday.

Ross Graham is an able replacement. Hopefully he can put in a very good performance

So are we to assume the game is going ahead? Surely United would have been told by now if it wasn't?

Well that's what would be sensible but this us scottish football !!
I think it was just rumour anyway and today the Arboath chairman posted a new year message to fans online and both clubs still promoting ticket sales.
Would be a really poor show ask for or announce a postponement now.
I actually think if they pull out united would get a 3-0 win

Would much rather an able right footer playing the RCB.
