Kinda points at the complete imbalance in Scottish football. On a day when the money men at Sky drool over a big money Glasgow derby there's rumours that a club in the division below might be unable to field a fit 11 for a fixture.

On the other hand I understand budgets at smaller clubs like Arbroath are extremely tight but how should we be penalised with a postponement when we invest in youth teams, an academy, a ladies team etc. How many players have they lost to injury to be left with not enough to fulfill a fixture? Must be one hell of a lot if they can't field enough to start a game. Seems very unusual and should never be the case. Previously there's been cases where wholesale illness via food poisoning or Covid have been granted postponement but there's nothing to suggest that's the case here, it sounds like they're just running out of players, should never be happening.

22 listed on their website, not sure what the SPFL ruling is for minimum number of subs to fulfil a fixture.

Any news on Declan Gallagher - hope he’s fit for the season.

Ross Graham can be an able deputy if needed at gayfield

Still no official word on them requesting a postponement and it's a bank holiday tomorrow so surely a request would have to have been made by now.
    Hopefully just rumour mill rubbish.
Plus the window opens tomorrow ??
Maybe a couple emergency loans if its that bad I'm looking forward to going up there on Tuesday and freezing my nuts off.
