    Saddlers

This is going to be a tough game, but I still think we can win it ...

Chance for one or two (or more) of our young players to 'man-up' and show what they are about ...

    - or perhaps Lee has registered himself to play ??

Whatever, great away support expected, and a sneaky 1-0 win

    FGS Nev (again)

Can't see us overcoming our injury problems today (or the next month!). So expect a 2-0 loss.

No Nevitt, no Thomas! White and O'Riordan return.

Just want this period to be over. One more game to get through before our squad gets diminished further. The January window needs to be good in order for some of these players to have a rest.

    Poor goals conceded.

Having played Luke, Mickey, Connor as a back 3 in almost every game, this really shows how important a stable back-line is.

We have been playing different permutations/combinations in recent games, and it definitely hasn't helped

Biggest problem is that the regular back 3 of Connor, Luke and Mickey have kept one clean sheet all season.

I would like others views on this please. The highlights of their goals, both from set pieces, shows their striker virtually holding, you could say obstructing our GK almost on the goal line and when the ball comes in the striker just heads the ball past him at head height. I'm wondering if that is a foul, re obstruction or the GK could just the GK have punched the ball away first? How come one of our players allowed that and got in front of the GK and their player? Great sympathy for the GK actually as there are over 15 players crowding that area now in games and he can find himself not seeing the ball that well.
