    Middlesbrough Post Match Thoughts

Well knock me down with a feather, we've only gone and won a game. Well done to Leam Richardson in gaining his first (of many we hope) victory as RUFC manager and handing a belated Christmas present to Millers everywhere. Can we play 'Boro every week? One small step for man.........or just a false dawn?

    Thoughts?

A continuation of the first half against Leicester but for 90 minutes.

Apart from the 3 points it’ll give so much confidence.

Great result! Undeserved but still a great result

Well done Leam and all the team! Some luck for the Millers for a change. Thought they should have had a pen and we score a wonder goal. Who cares, that is such a valuable win. Do the same on Friday and some optimism will return to NYS

Boro must dread coming to the NYS. I think that's the 3rd time in recent memory we've beaten them after being totally outplayed. The result is what it is. A statistical probability over the course of 46 games. It will take quite a few more of those I'm afraid before my optimism starts to rise.Well played though and I'm pleased for LR.

    Headline on Beeb :

Cohen Bramall's mi**** cross looped in to give bottom-of-the-table Rotherham a priceless Championship win over Middlesbrough.

    On Sky:
Alan Macinally - Boro should be 4 up.

Poor little cherubs. Sorry to have ruined your day.

    How sad never mind

Nice to see LR coaching and directing the players with a sense of purpose from the touchline. Not seen that for a while.

Can we stop this “sell out” nonsense, with so many empty seats?

I don’t know if anyone else has noticed, but this no.2 he has brought in….seems to be not backward at coming forward in LR’s ear all the time.
Quite aggressive looking. Certainly wound up. Far far older than LR. who’s in charge?
