    Prediction League - Everton

The Toffees are much improved since we met them earlier in the season. Left Goodison Park with three points that day thanks to a late Kalajdzic goal. I believe Wolves have also improved since that meeting. The Blues sit just above the relegation zone only because of the 10 point deduction as a result of financial shenanigans (I think we can expect Man City to be dropped to the National League based on proportion of their crimes, right? ). Everton would be one point ahead of Wolves without the penalty. As with most Sean Dyche teams, Everton are stingy when it comes to conceding goals. They’ve only given up 25 this season, good for 5th least in the Prem. Also typical of Dyche teams, they struggle to put the ball in the net. Only six clubs have scored less. Wolves home record has been good. Short rest and hopefully Hwang is able to play.

Wow, nine points from nine in just a few days. We are getting better and better and just a few points from safety, not as I ever thought we wouldn't be safe.

We have something in this team which many teams haven't got, and fear most, that is pace. You cannot run away from speed!!! When we break we look like scoring every time, and our goal difference is starting to show that. I am glad we appear to be moving away from the slow, dreary passing across the back three.

Good vision and running off the ball is making for exciting football. Sarabia has taken a time to adjust to the demands of this league, but you can now see the ability and vision that he has. Doyle, again lightweight, but what potential, he will be a real asset if we sign him, his best game yet against Everton.

When did two centre backs last score for Wolves in the same game? Or when did two English born players score in the same game? There was one in the Championship when Afobe and one other scored, but I cannot remember who it was, perhaps Wokes will know.

The winter break has come at the wrong time this year, but let us hope for a good cup run.

Happy and Prosperous New Year to all our followers.

Abbo, looks like the last time was in the 2017-18 season against Bolton towards the end of the season. 4-0 win in which Afobe and Coady scored
