What do we need and Who might be available

Agree about Dawson. SD tried to sign him a few times. Still doing a good job and scoring goals.

VK said in the Mission to Burnley, when he was looking at the stats, that after 100 sessions the team’s performance started to improve. And that curve went up quite a bit from that point on. I’ve said before that that would take us to around Christmas. We might be here now and we might be on for a ride of better performances… I don’t buy into the whole VK knows or doesn’t know what he’s doing. He knows quite a bit and he’s learning. What we don’t need imo are any more loan players or players on short contracts. We are now developing Bruun Larsen for Hoffenheim. If we have a buying option at a set value then fine… if not we’re going to mess about like we did with Maatsen and Tella.

What I believe is to get the players we already have fit and time on the pitch to develop. Foster has improved so much this season even if he hasn’t been playing all that much.
I don’t get what VK sees in Delcroix… maybe he just needs more time.
And what about Massengo? Berge is suspended. Will we see Cullen back in cm?

Dawson and Lansbury Dave, how many times were they on the verge of signing for us ? Dawson was so,close he was even in the stand at Deepdale once, watching us in a preseason friendly, everyone assumed it was done and dusted but it wasn't. He'd be invaluable for us now though wouldn't he.

I can't see much happening, we didn't spend to survive in summer, why would we do it now ? If we get any offers we can't refuse for any of our players, we might use that cash to bring some in, but I won't be holding my breath.

I did read on a Chelsea site that we were in for Mastsen and Chelsea wanted rid, then there was an identical piece where they just swapped Ajax for Burnley, so I can't take it too seriously. I still can't have Maatsen at £30 million either, that's madness, he's a £15m-£20m player at best.
