JJ was certainly "protecting his body" after coming on. Ought to have been given a few fouls by the ref. Work rate not at the levels PW would demand.

But then if the lad scores a dozen goals or assists, why would we worry about his work rate? I get it that in this league there is little finesse, but sometimes the epithet "hard working2 is over used, especially if it refers to a player who runs around a lot with no end product.

Perhaps Collins is now getting the service he requires from the players Warne brought in? Maybe Warne's coaching has made him a better finisher?

I'll be more specific. Posh player gets the ball with JJ 2 yards away. The lad with the ball moves faster than JJ in his "tracking". This happened a few times. Not what PW wants from a player. For me, if a forward has 10 yards to make up, don't go for it, 3 yards or less and they should be proving the old adage of players moving faster without the ball than with it... Not a headless chicken approach but one of choosing your battles. IMO, JJ should have had more battles than he did against Posh.

Agreed and it’s the same with Fornah, spoils his game. Compare with Cashin also, who doesn’t look naturally the quickest but clearly bust a ******* to max his speed
