    Weak Links Today

Thought Furlong and Townsend did OK today and Okay was my MOM. Chalobah played well when he came on!

Players that were poor and weak links for me were Molumbey ( don’t rate him ), Grady and Asante. Reach needs to practice his passing!

Desperately need a striker in January as apart from Asante missing an easy chance he actually woke Swansea up. They were there for the taking as their home form had been poor.

I would sell Grady, Grant and off load Reach in January on the proviso the money could fund players we desperately need. You can’t blame Lai for the 30 million spent on Grant and Grady and personally I would take 5 million for both of them!

I think they have all given everything over recent games and with the injuries, we are in a pretty good place. Asante gives his all and his best position is alongside a proper centre forward; if you remember, we had one of those but that thug Ballard crocked him.

Bartley needs a kick up the aris. The amount of balls he plays backwards make Furlong look a saint.

Wish you hadn't posted that. I can just picture Boingy now, quill in hand practicing his calligraphy skills and writing to the Pope asking him to honour Saint Darnell's canonization. I'll never get to sleep now. Bugger.......

Lol, nice one, I think we forget that they are playing the way Carlos wants them to play. They are doing great this season despite the problems. He doesn’t want them to give possession away easily so if the opposition mark up well you have to keep passing it around until you find a gap, which we have done very well this season.

Agree with everything you’ve said here except that Asante does have a thankless task up there on his own playing the loan striker. He actually did great taking that ball down and beating the defender, got a lot of time for him. They all need a good rest.

It's almost as though I didn't know that (although I did). I don't have a problem with us keeping and recycling the ball to exploit gaps in the opposition's formation.

It would however be nice if our fullbacks didn't switch off when the opposition do the same to us by switching flanks with diagonal balls.

I’m sure Carlos discusses it in training.
