    Bradford City

Looking forward to this one ...

Here's hoping for a decent crowd - Bradford should bring a large contingent...

Should be a good game, going for a 2-1 win

Same here, I'll go for 1-3 with a 5800 crowd.

Far from convincing so far.and fortunate to be 1-0 up. Too many misplaced passes and even when Crewe had possession they lost it because the player in possession was too slow. Unless things improve do not be surprised if a loss is recorded.

Keep the faith, what a chuffin' team this is ...

Perhaps we should play with one midfielder all the time - LOL

Not a classic, but the defence were superb with Offord standing immense in his slightly advanced position.
Amusing to read Bradford fans claiming the ref was biased. They obviously didn't notice our 4 bookings for 'dissent' (ie disagreeing with the ref) compared to their players being in his face and not receiving any cards for that ( including the number who continued after being booked). You also have to wonder how the last man bringing down Long for the penalty managed to receive no card at all! And what priorities has the ref got when he gets upset at backchat but doesn't punish late tackles and a double-footed lunge on Long.

Fortunate to be ahead at the interval? They had threatened next to nothing in the first half. Didn't offer much in the 2nd half either. Just about deserved the win because we defended extremely well. Offord was magnificent as was Mickey and Billington.

The referee was dreadful and in a tight competition for the worst I have ever seen probably just edged out by the clown we had for the Barrow game. Today's didn't influence the outcome of the match whereas the bloke against Barrow definitely did!

What an effort by all the team. Bradford play horrible football and just hoof it up to that double decker bus of a centre forward. Crewe sides of old would have lost that game, but this mob are a different gravy. Offord was immense, Billington improves every game and a shout out for CBR. I'm not his biggest fan, but his efforts in both boxes were tremendous, he certainly put a shift in.
All in all, a well earned 3 points against a difficult side to beat.

He very nearly did influence the outcome. At the end of the game he let play continue which very nearly produced an equaliser. He blew his whistle immediately after Tom had saved the effort.

Big up to our young keeper - the young lad dun good.
