    In the time that Sean was at the Turf they had 9 full time managers and the highest they finished was 10th in two consecutive seasons and that was under Gary Rowett.

    Serves Birmingham right for believing a “ marquee name”, would change the whole picture in StAndrews. They deserve all they get.Rooney was the last person I would have chosen to manage a football team of mine. Surprised he lasted so long.

Blackburn Rovers (managed by John Eustace given the heave-ho by Birmingham City so they could bring in mega failure Wayne Rooney) win 2-0 away at Champions Leicester on the final day of the season. That result relegated Birmingham City. At least the East Lancs derby is on for next season.

    I laughed my cock off at full time Outwood.I was keeping an eye on that one as they are another Yank outfit who thought a star name manager would be good for their image and sacked Eustace for no reason at all.Karma is sweet.
