Stifled them for the most part. Unfortunately we made an error. Improvements.

More interested in how Bramall is.
    Don’t need any more injuries.

Shame the game wasn’t at NYS but at least we are looking a lot more solid these days.

    Time for revenge on Stoke.

Yes, definitely limping when he came off the pitch

Won't miss Bramall or Cafu. Former can't fault his application just his ability.

If Bramall is injured then Bola may get a chance to show Leam what he can bring to the side.

Creditable showing this evening by the lads - defensive gifts at this level will get punished - no question. However, let’s not forget that this team recently turned over Arsenal - even if not at full strength, they’re a good PL outfit so kudos to us with an injury hit squad to select from. The gradual recovery of our performance levels continues. We now face Schumacher again, this time as Stoke manager - we owe him and them one

Fantastic shape to us tonight. We gave them one chance! A shot that was that close to Victor and got past him on the speed alone was spectacular.
Morrison was again on form and ran the back line well. The midfielders were disciplined, kept the shape but you know there’s more to come.
    Eaves and Hughill did ok.
    Each sub didn’t do bad.

    Another step forward

Weve looked better and better every game.

Coaching has obviously improved and it appears moral has shot up too.

Good result in one way for the Millers, after looking at Fulham scoring feats in December 2023.

    .......... Won ................... ....... Lost ......................... Drawn .......

    5-0 v Nottingham Forest ---- 3-4 v Liverpool FC --------- 1-1 Everton FC [cup-game]
    5-0 v West Ham ------------- 0-3 v Newcastle Utd ------ --------------------------------
    2-1 v Arsenal FC -------- ---- 0-2 v Burnley FC -----------------------------------------
    -------------------------------- 0-3 v AFC Bournemouth ----------------------------------

    16 goals for / 14 goals against

Millers getting better in defence, concede only one goal against a premier league side.

Attendance 15,083. Compare that with nearly 61,000 at Tottenham. The luck of the draw I suppose.

We looked sharper when Rathbone, Tiehi and Nombe came on, but good for Clucas and Cafu to get an hour in and hopefully learn something from the Fulham midfield on how to keep the ball. I was sat nice and close to the pitch and interesting to see how Cafu uses his body to try and keep the ball, and Tiehi has his at a good angle to give himself a chance of a forward pass. I reckon Richardson was trying a few things out and will have been pleased overall. But we just lack that choice of attacking players to give us a real goal threat. Defensively look pretty coherent. A bit heartstopping at times playing out from the back but I think it's important to have a bit of variety.
