The Luke Williams appointment seems to be a very popular choice judging by the reaction of fans on the various Swans forums.
Having been assistant manager here before and knowing a lot of our players certainly helps. Plus his very successful stint at Notts County with an attacking style of football and a record number of goals scored it’s all music to Swans fans ears, especially after enduring such a poor season so far.

Chairman’s words on the appointment -
“He fits right into the mould of other talented and ambitious young managers who have succeeded here. I am confident our supporters will be excited by and proud of this Luke Williams-led Swansea City team.”

It's amazing how he said he'll be at notts county for the long term as its an incredible club. Now Swansea are an incredible club and the perfect move.
If it's the perfect move, why did he leave in the 1st place? When you lose under his reign he will say you lost to an incredible club. If he does a good job for you, he'll move on to another incredible club.

We’ve been through it with most of our managers, they move on to better things. They all say the same things, kiss the badge and then kiss my ar.e.
The lower clubs are just a stepping stone to the bigger clubs.
Same with the players. This season we’ve lost 20 goal Piroe, who we plucked from obscurity in Dutch football and gave him his chance - he couldn’t wait to leave when Leeds came calling.
I remember Fabianski crying as he walked off the pitch when we were relegated from the PL, next day he was off to West Ham.

Probably the best choice of what was on offer. Advantage being he knows a lot of the players from his last stint here and their capabilities.
Let’s be patient and give him time.
Sorry for your loss Big Bob, we know the feeling very well.
