Few stats before we start our second half of games tomorrow

7 conceded after 18 games is the lowest by any team at the halfway stage in the roughly 30 years since it become 10 team second tier, that's some going right away, big credit due to the team for this, long may it continue, been awhile since we had a team so hungry to not give away goals - the lowest after the full 36 games this century was Hibs with 25 ga in our first season down last time 2016/17 (they finished with 71 pts and +34)

A goal difference of +33 therefore at this stage is also pretty mad, only 13 teams this century have ended a full 36 game season with a better GD than we currently have, 12 of them won the league, only Hibs in 2015 with +38 didn't but that was behind Hearts with their record breaking 91 pts +70 GD season under Neilson

Lowest GD for a league winner was St Johnstone with +20 in 2009 but only finished on 65 pts, the second lowest after the funs lowest pts total for a winning side last season of 63 (w17 d12 l7 gf66 ga40)

It's more important of course we win games and keep putting pts on the board but it's almost an anamoly to be behind a side with such a GD advantage really, obviously game behind playing a part too, and for every single win so far for RR being by a single goal, also very very rare

Also only the third time two sides have been on 41 pts as the half way point
