For Warnocks preferred 4-2-3-1 with an aggressive press.

I would say we more than have the players to work that system.

    RB - TAR or Brindley
    CB - Rawlo or Baldwin
    CB - Baldwin or Cameron
    LB - Chicksen or Cameron

MF - Bostock and O'Brien or Robertson

the 3 with license to roam - Crowley, Langstaff and Jones

    Didzy up top

It most probably isnt going to happen, but we could make it work.

I don't think there was any need for that. BFG comes across as a pretty balanced and fair poster from a r!val club and not some of the w****s we have had on here in the past. His point is also pretty fair - although probably could have been delivered a little more sensitively on a r!val clubs forum.

If you dared to say that to his face he'd destroy that brain fart and make you look stupid. Its also completely ignorant of the career he has had for the last 30 years and longer.

Lets not forget that another so called 'dinosaur' beat your very own Pep G in the making to the title last season and went unbeaten at home. And when it mattered the most came up with the required tactics and team to do it.

Maybe you need a 'dinosaur' who could perhaps guide your team on how to defend properly?

    Just saying.
That's as maybe, but our Pep G did in one year what it took your diplodocus 2 years to achieve, & as a club we took 4 years to get out of the NL, compared to your 15 years, & then the only reason you got out was with R&R's dollars. Just saying......

Oh, & by the way what is Ben Foster doing with his gloves these days?

Not entirely sure, but it might involved some mucky go pro clips and a good gloveful of swarfega and some marbles

If you don't like Dinosaur, old school, although
he would probably say the same. Football styles have altered to what style suited him in his day. As for Huddersfield he may have saved them, but didn't last 6 weeks into the new season.
If you think I'd be scared of him dream on, my old man's mate was his postman when at Notts, barked at him & got put him in his place.
As for beating us to the title, you bought it,everbody in the football world knows that.
We don't need a dinosaur to defend properly, we need better players, we've given the lads that got us up a chance, but just not quite up to scratch or a better Coach that knows how to play our style

Absolutely right. We don't have the squad for Warnock's style and it would be such a waste of all that's been created over the last few seasons in terms of style, identity and attractive, modern footie. Warnock gave us some of the best times we've known a few decades back but let's cherish those fantastic memories and leave them in the past.

Are we going to appoint a new manager this week?

Longer it goes on the less likely it's going to be somebody with experience I would think, as they would likely want to make use of (or at least have some say) in the January ins and outs.

Maynard back to being favourite at 6/4. Nothing in any of those odds suggests that anyone has a clue who the next manger will be

No it’s just people betting 10/20 quid on it. Maybe we will get some news this week, I’m hoping so as I think it will help bringing in players.
