    wigan v Man U

Wigan never really threatened but man U were just over elaborate trying to play the ball into the net. One good goal and a soft penalty. Rashford and mcTominay were wasteful. We should have beaten them and they haven't improved since then. no Var though, the game just flowed, it makes a hell of a difference, roll on the Championship.

No VAR and still a controversial penalty decision. Referee had a clear view, was pretty close to the incident, and gave one of the softest penalties you’ll ever see. The experts said it didn’t warrant enough of a foul to give it, the Wigan manager was as frustrated by it all , as much as VK was last week, and United capitalised on it. There may have been slight contact ,but really not enough to give it. There really is no hope for the future of our game, if it carries on like this. Had it happened up the other end , a Wigan player would have been booked for diving.
The sooner referees give interviews after games , to explain certain decisions the better.

We’ve been here before Mal asking for explanations from referees lo and behold we were introduced to VAR the oracle that would sort all controversy and fix bad decisions out of football - we got neither and the referees got of the hook even further with its introduction.

    The game is ruined

England's top referee makes another joke decision, the cheat wins again.
