    Isak Linked with Arsenal

Probably just the rumour mill due to silly season again but a few accounts reporting this..

I have genuinely seen Newcastle fans stating in the comments that Isak would never leave us to go to Arsenal.. Seriously?

I love Newcastle, I really do but teams that are up in the top 4 consistently do have more pulling power than what we currently have, Arsenal one of the biggest clubs in Europe..

Like I say, I don't think it will happen as the fee would be massive £100m+.. but the bigger clubs are starting to sniff around our saleable assets i.e. Isak, Bruno etc

According to some transfer round up at Sky, it was mentioned that Arsenal have a tight budget because of FFP.

You dont get Isak with a tight budget.

I'd say there's more chance of the @rse missing out on 4th place and Arteta getting the old heave-ho.

Isak is 100m as is Bruno and Botman is 60m

I read somewhere a few months ago that If we sold Bruno for 100m we could spend 300m, I don’t know how that works?

Anyhoo we will have a fight to hold on to those players, last summer recruitment was a disaster, we make a spine in Pope, Botman, Bruno and Isak but didn’t build on it.

I think the club needs to make a quality signing this window. Not necessarily a statement signing, which would be nice, but a response or message that we are still aiming big.

They are crying out for someone like Isak but I don't think they can afford him. It would be a worry if he went and could send the wrong message. Unless they offered silly money and we had a quality replacement ready, no way.

Remember Howe stated that ASM sale funded all our summer transfers.
I think it is something like you get 100m straight away, but can buy 300m worth of players in instalments

I smell bullsh*t. This rumour has come from Arsenal missing loads of chances against Liverpool in the cup. 2+2=5.

I thought Arsenal and Chelsea were fighting it out for the services of Toney???
Nothing surprises me anymore, as the way the EPL have strangled us, we probably would accept 100 million for Isak, as well as 100 million for Bruno. And then go shopping in the chimpo league for overpriced garbage !!!!

Isak would be perfect for Arsenal. He’s perfect for us too and the Arse don’t have the resources to sign him. They’re not the force of old, for all they’ve had a resurgence in the last 18 months.
