Not so sure Alf - he has time on his hands and his great uncle and grandfather love the club in a way that feels forgotten but which young Archie will have been brought up on.

Not sure on that regarding Gray. His connections to the club really do go deep and especially if we are promoted and PL ambitions are clear to him, I suspect he would stay despite the vultures (And what happened to Phillips would play a big part in his and his advisors thinking).

Of course if we are stuck in Championship when (not if) the scavengers gather, you might be right.

Unfortunately until we expand ER and turn it into a 55 thousand capacity stadium our cream of the crop will not stay as long as they should.

He's certainly a top class act and exciting footballer for his age and could go on to become a 100 million footballer according to some of the experts ..Nice to see we have some good up and coming talent in this country..Would be nice to see him become a future international for England.

Normally you’d be correct but think this is different. Eddie was involved in the glory years and then the dark times. I think his family will want him to be part of the building up process.

Agree that KP will also enter in to it as well. That’s a scary lesson to a 17 year old. From hero to has been in under 2 years
