    Matchday Thread: Imps v Rams

IMO quite a 'biggy' this - away from home against a 'useful' but not brilliant outfit

We must be doing something right to be one point off top spot but its difficult to put a finger on exactly what - maybe the resilience to see off teams like Lincoln is what it is.

2-1 Derby, Collins to continue to lay the ghost of McGoldrick to rest with one of them

Already beaten them twice quite convincingly...the last time just a month ago...and they lost to Northampton last time out at home so...should be a straightforward away win, right? Or possibly not...2-2...and please don’t go to three at the back!

All the hall marks of a banana skin, one we should win but one we could lose. I'll go for a 2-1 win, but as rA says not 3 at the back please!!

Firstly, here's hoping Wildsmith is back! This is another game on the snakes and ladder board, which is it the snake or the ladder?? 3 at the back then it's the long wriggly snake but let's forget such silliness and stay on the ladder with a scrappy (what else?) 0-1win thanks to a nailed on penno! 🙏🤞

A nailed on penno that they miss ....allowing us to go upfield and Collins taps in from a Mendez Laing break. But let's not be too exact. 0-1 with Orient turning over Bolton please, Fleetwood and Shrewsbury getting a point each which leaves........?

Sounds like we were a little unlucky in what was reportedly an entertaining game. Suppose it points to what we all know we’re short of. Good news...Bolton lost...bad news Peterborough recovered to take all three points. Really need six points from Reading and Cheltenham now.

We need to buy Hackett-Fairchild from them - he'd fit in will with the team ethos

Either team could have won. Draw not a terrible result
