Even Man City have come unstuck this season. There’s no such thing as perfection, whoever it is wherever it is. Since we’ve had Corberan we haven’t experienced a bad run. If we lose a couple of games we come back and win 4. That will keep us in the top 6. If we get to the play off final that will be amazing. If we win and get in the Prem that will be great but we all know we will come straight back down, I could see all the ones who go up coming straight back down too. It is what it is so enjoy the ride.
    Exactly, Boingy, couldn’t agree more.

I personally think that, in the context of the championship and it's quality, we are good enough to be where we are in 5th place and that we aren't there through simply "over-achievement" but deserve to be where we are. However, whilst I agree with you that it's virtually impossible to expect that any club will win all its games, I do think that some of the performances have indeed been "not good enough". I accept that most teams go through phases of being in and out of form and that the thin-ness of our squad (whether through lack of finances or injuries) makes this even harder but -as others have commented-we really do need to work on consistency. Get this right and I'm sure our away from will improve.

Like yourself, I really like Corberan and believe he has done exceptionally well given all the constraints he has -but there is obviously still room for improvement. That said, I'm sure that both he and the players realise this and will be keen to work to keep a play-off position a reality.

It’s not with hindsight, but I fully expected an under par performance away from home yesterday. As I’ve stated before, after good home performances we so often follow up with a poor away display. I agree, Omegstrat, that we are where we should be, in the top six. I fully realise that we can’t perform to our full potential in every game but our performances away from home are a concern. Carlos realises this as he has told his players that they should play as if they are at home.
As an aside, it is credit to the Albion fans that we are so difficult to play against at the Hawthorns and the support that the fans give the side.

Agree. Nobody likes losing but it’s the manner of some of the games we have lost - drab and slow motion football. Does Mowbray’s teams play like this when they lose? No!

Every one has a right to be positive and critical as that’s football. The most harshest critics are those who follow West Brom away. I have been a quite a few away games and some supporters openly say Furlong, Townsend and Reach are not good enough and we desperately need a striker. Does this mean those supporters who travel every where don’t love West Brom? Of course they do!

Corberon has done an exceptional job but we need to be more consistent. Hull and Coventry will be up there and Blues will climb the table under Mowbray for sure!

Carlos needs to play the strongest team against Wolves!

Home or away we all want the best. I, my good Lady and two little Baggies have not long returned home from Norfolk. Not going to say anything other than I did not expect anything other than a tough season. We go home and away as often as we can. Our weekends, work allowing, is spent following the Baggies.
