Defenders must love playing against Middleton because he's either going to try to outpace you or cut back and play the ball away. Twice today he had the opportunity to cut in on goal onto his right foot but chose left and got dispossessed. Tbf Kai got no joy either.

Our crossing and dead balls is woeful. Seen a stat on FB, not sure if it's true but saying from 100+ corners we've scored 3 times.
We're relying on width for everything , teams have completely sussed it, we need to mix it up by playing one two's in front of central defenders, when we did it last ten minutes we started to look like it might pay off.

If only we had a Barry Robson or Danny Swanson to take a corner. Get them in at Tannadice practising taking corner kicks at the actual venue where we play the competetive games.

Instead of 2 men taking the corner put one of them on the edge of the box to take advantage of knock downs or partial clearances. Gonna shout now
IT DOESN'T NEED 2 PLAYERS TO TAKE A F*****G CORNER!!

Who were the holding midfielders? The 3 of Sibbs, Doc and Spoons seemed to be happy to interchange all first half, sometimes to very good effect.

Basically, the keeper and defence were almost outstanding today as a unit. The midfield 3 above were very good, and maybe dropped off a bit with the subs. Up front though was absolutely woeful for the most part with nothing from Middleton and Kai, and Watt was a fancy trick away from providing the square root of jack skit to the team! Would rather that Meekison, Grieve and Moult were brought on at half time as they were just starting to produce by the last 10 minutes, maybe something would have come a bit sooner.

Some work required over the next few days where i hope the owner is here to sign off on some important deals!

    This.

The final 3rd is as frustrating as feck! Trying to walk the ball in at times. Have a bloody dig.

Teams in the championship wld love to have players like watt moult Middleton and Kia but for some reason at home we don’t seem to be able to put a a half decent performance together.

Cld have had a comfortable cushion between us raith.

Middleton and Fotheringham tried but got zero out of their defenders. Watt was back to his useless worst. Subs made a difference but too little too late.

Played well first half hour and looked a team that were a level above our opposition but the last hour was meh......is there any chance we can bin Watt and just bring him oot on eez birthday?

Mcmann to me is a totally different player from before and is having a really good season.....ffs he looks more of a threat on the left wing than Middleton....ie taking on rbs and getting the ball in the Box....

Think we can all agree that it's gonna be a long old season and we are not going to pi55 the league so we may as well buckle up and not enjoy the ride🙄.........cmon did yous really think we were winning the league by March 🫣😂😂

Im convinced what we are missing is some genuine pace. Whether its out wide or through the middle.

I think they are trying to draw another defender out the box by threatening them with the short corner. I do agree though. If no player takes the bait, either play the short corner and drive for goal or send the unneeded player in to the 6 yard box to cause bather, or sit on the 18 yard line looking for the second ball.
