I'm struggling with the selection of one fast bowler (who tends to break down) with Stokes unable to bowl and 2 rookie spinners who've barely played for England before.
When was the last time we fielded more wicketkeepers than pacemen?

As you say, it’s virtually impossible to beat India in India...think we were the last to do it and that was twelve years ago after a first Test thrashing, so let’s not beat ourselves up too much.
England cricket is all about rebuilding for the future at the moment and I’d think all we can hope to come out of this series with is some degree of dignity and experience.

I was going to say he’s the nearest we have to a genuine all rounder, GP...but his batting let’s him down these days.

Football often disappoints but cricket on the other hand…the Windies have pulled off a bit of a miracle beating the Aussies, fantastic to watch. Now back to the potential miracle in India
