    What is going on?

Adam Montgomery our loanee from Celtic is out for the majority of the rest of the season with a serious hamstring injury picked up in training. He seems to be one of a number of your players picking up hamstring injuries in training. He looked a very useful addition in the game against Alloa. Are we just unlucky with injuries or is there something wrong with our training methods?

It's a real blow and no doubt questions about training and warm up methods will be asked.

Meanwhile, we need a couple of strikers.

Our injuries this season have been ridiculous, there really is no other word for it. It could be simply down to bad luck, though if that’s the case then it’s extremely bad luck, but you do wonder if our training methods are a factor in these never ending injuries.

It's very hard to say for sure and there are some who can be excepted from the study...impact injuries happen and you wouldn't put the permanent crocks on our bill either (signing them was stupid but a different issue). I still think there's enough muscle injuries, particularly in training, that questions need asked...if we want to run a small squad (fair) we need to invest a bit in keeping them fit.
