The video was really just an arse covering exercise and it all seemed scripted which is fair enough considering it was red tv.

It’s all very well saying they want to take their time to get the right manager in but it’s been 2 months since we sacked Robson.

On top of that they arsed about for 2 months looking to get the right manager in and had no option but to appoint Robson which in hindsight was the wrong decision.

If the next manager comes in and they end up having to bin him next January / February time then surely that’s the end of Cormack and his fmb.

Cormack and the rest have gittered around deciding what to do about employing a manager that it has ended up very detrimental to their look of having any sort of competence.
Unless they now hire someone like Kjetil Knutsen or someone of that ilk they are in real danger.
They need a manager who the fans will be onside with straight away.
The likes of O’Neil aren’t going to achieve anything like what Knutsen could regarding fan power (and of course playing success).
This costs real money though. No point spending a few bob on a German firm to give a big overview of how we run as a club and what we can do to improve then just rip up their report and hire a manager because the chairman likes him (as his record of previous recruitment is very dubious).
If you want to be successful and have big improvements you need to employ people who can certainly achieve this. I don’t think the likes of O’Neil can help us regarding getting us players to take us up a few gears.
It’s the time to employ a proper replacement and big improvement on Derek McInnes….Has Cormack the balls and ability to tempt and lure a real top manager? I very much doubt it. I will be the first to congratulate him in he does!!

They have been a joke of an outfit for quite some time, recent happenings just confirms that once again.

No top manager would touch us. That's not on Cormack or the club, just the Scottish game in general.

The guy Kjetil Knutsen was offered the chance to talk to Celtic and Ajax last summer but he decided to stay with Bodø Glimt so even if we threw a ton of money at him he’s still not going to be interested in coming here.

Knutsen always said he wouldn’t leave when into the season. We have an opportunity but need to act quickly. Having the ability to get him is a different story. That itself would take some convincing.

Derek Adams is recruiting (footballing) staff for his next job through Linked-in.

They wouldn't be daft enough....Would they!

I am not holding out much hope for who they next employ. It’s becoming extremely difficult to be interested in Aberdeen properly nowadays. Milne made life difficult watching them but Cormack has taken it to an even lower level.

Knutsen seems like he is comfortable at Bodo Glimt and would be reluctant to leave unless a big club in one of the top leagues came in for him.

What makes you think he would even consider being our manager?

At best it would be a sideways step for him.

It’s about proving to yourself how good a manager you could be. Aberdeen are a bigger club than Bodo/Glimt. Everyone knows how we have been for far too long now so if he was to change that and make us far better he would look like a superstar of a manager. He is definitely a good manager and Bodo/Glimt are a very good team. Could he manage it at Aberdeen? Can our chairman attract the type of manager we would actually need to take us up a gear or two?
I am pretty certain a bit more cash and the correct timing regarding Knutsen not going deep through a season with his current team would make him more available.
