Motherwell take a point in Perth, should have been three

Motherwell missed the chance to create a three point gap over St Johnstone and had to settle for a point after a 1-1. - External Link

Mixed feelings on that one... definitely should have won so to have not done so, especially because of another farcical goal, is frustrating.

But everyone knew we were missing a cutting edge, to dominate regardless is a positive. There's no way this team will lose none points to Livingston in the next spell and frankly no reason to assume we'll be bottom of our relevant mini-league either.

A striker (two, in fact) in the next four days crucial obviously. But while we're nowhere near out of the woods, the feeling compared to the morning after the county game in December is night and day different.

Played some decent football today, but without having a cutting edge to it we are going to struggle to win many games. Priority has to be to get in at least one striker, who is currently playing and is therefore up to match fitness and able to complete 90 minutes. We can’t just sign someone just to make up squad numbers or to appease us fans.
