This is surely a match that the players and coaches have been looking forward to since the opening weekend when the officials and VAR robbed us of a point. Since then, I would say Wolves are much happier with their season than ManU would be. The devils surely sought a Champions League place at the beginning of the season but they have never been higher than sixth and finished bottom of their group in UCL so they don't have a knockout stage to deal with. Wolves are coming off an emotional victory at The Hawthorns, but I think they will be up for revenge at Molineux.

What a match for the neutral, seven goals and a twist in every corner. Man U schooled us in the first half with their speed of movement and accurate passing. Rashford was on top form and he took his early goal well. Some luck in their second, and we were lucky to go in at half time only two down. Hell fire, I thought Greavsey had his score projection correct. We were unlucky in the fact that United were playing their best football of the season.

No one could have predicted what was to happen in the second half. First we witnessed a very rare event, a penalty against Man U. The referee Mr Gillett was immediately surrounded by the away sides players, but he stuck to his guns. Incidentally, the same referee that sent Lamina off last season for ambling towards him. Consistency???

We were back in the game for a moment, before sloppy defending allowed their sub, Mctominay to score from a corner. Game over we thought, but this Wolves side do not give in. We narrowed the score line after a goalmouth scramble. United were really wasting time at this point and their keeper was booked for this. One of their free kicks took over two minutes, a chap near me timed it. The board showing nine minutes went up and both sides made changes, United bringing on Evans and Maguire. From a Reds attack we broke and Neto slammed the ball into the net for a last gasp equaliser, or so we thought.

They say teams are most vulnerable after they have scored, and so it proved. A brilliant solo run and a sublime finish by the United youngster, sealed victory, which was no more than they probably deserved.

On that form Man U could probably beat most teams, we just had to catch them on a good day. Their fans were critical of Neto and the penalty, but he only did what their players have been doing for many years. He felt contact and went down. Not our best day at the office, but not our worst. I though Killman, who was great at Albion, had a shocker and Ait Nouri and Sarabia must start against Chelsea.

In summary we lost the first half 0-2 but won the second 3-2.
