    Seriously thinking about it.

Cardiff to Manchester Piccadilly quite regular.3 and a half hours to 4 hours I think.

Big effort now as I get older and would have to be careful on the drinking, had too many past problems, but it really would
be nice to meet a few of you.

    How many now going?

I'd love to meet up with you again barrie.

I think we could easily make up half a dozen.

Army88, Sir Outwood, k_c & myself all look certain starters.

Diary full I'm afraid and I'm off to Madrid in two weeks. Lo siento.

I can get there on the Friday as originally planned as I use Metrolink which will not be affected by the strike action. How many others are still ok for Friday if Northern Rail and LNER trains are not running?

I'm east of Huddersfield so the train is my only viable option.

If the trains are out outwood I won’t get there as I’d come via Hebden Bridge on std rail.

Didn’t know there was potentially an issue

If it’s an issue for some id wait and make sure we get as many as possible there - for me personally I would like to put faces to names etc so if we have to wait a week or a few weeks to make sure all attend makes sense to me.

Seems sensible does that army88. It would help enormously if this "government" actually gave a $hit about the north of England.
