I've got a feeling that we might not see Gallagher back before the end of the season.

I don’t see it like that as we only had one defender in our nine subs on Saturday and that was young Petrie. We also don’t have midfielders who can slot into the full back positions. Secondly we are getting to the time in the season where bookings come into play and at the moment we only have two centre halves and three full backs with a decent amount of experience fit to play.

Christ man, why think that way, there's nothing been said from Goodwin that suggests DG won't be back within a few weeks

This seems an obvious replacement (hopefully upgrade) for Denholm

Agreed. An injury to Holt right now and we'd be up sh*t creek.

The Daily Record (I know!!) reported- The 22-year-old will come in and provide competition to Kevin Holt and Ross Graham. United are also hoping that Declan Gallagher will be back to full fitness between now and the summer.

That last sentence gives me the fear that the injury/recovery may not be as straight forward as we hoped. Hopefully it is just bad journalism, which knowing the rag it was printed in, makes it more than likely he'll be back for Friday!

I'm a conspiracy theorist as well weegie.
No way Gallacher back this month or next month or the month after that.
Goodwin has been working his socks off to prepare us for the worst.

Either that or it's a kick in the ba's for young Ross Graham.
