He has played 161 games in 16 years including 5 for us and one for Wigan.
At a cost of a Reported £7.5k a week pluss a signing on fee .
His contract is up in the summer, hope he does the right thing and at least do a deal on the rest of his contract .

Yet another gamble on an older player that didn't pay off and £7.5k a week adds up! There are a lot of players whose contracts are up at the end of this season so this will obviously create the opportunity to have a clear out and save some money. The issue then though is going to be trying to ensure that we can both keep those players we want to retain as well as being able to bring in new blood and this very much depends on the outcome of any change in ownership. Whatever happens, whilst I accept that there is always an element of.a gamble, we need to have far better due diligence in our recruitment process than we have demonstrated in previous years. Hopefully, Corberan's involvement will help.
