My first favourite was Jim Forrest. Then Joey took over. In between his stays noone merited cult status. Unsung always liked McMaster.
I’d love to hear your suggestions for our unsung & cult heroes… I don’t mean the obvious legends, I mean the more obscure players.
Maybe they were not brilliant very often… maybe they were geniuses (when they could be ar*ed, but it wasn’t that often!) …. maybe they just liked to put the boot in! But something about them resonated with you…
I'll kick off with my 2 nominees:
- Drew Jarvie
- Zerouali*

Billy Little and Jimmy Smith. (jinky
My two would have to be.
Billy Stark and John McMaster
McMaster is rightly regarded as one of the greatest players in the clubs history
Are folk putting him in the unsung category or cult hero?
Big Doug Rougvie - cult hero?
I alway thought Brian Grant was a bit under-rated, whereas I thought he was a cracking player - again he would be great in the current team!
Marc de Clerk
Played 2 games? First time I had heard of a goalie scoring (on his debut v Berwick)
Think he got injured after that and never played again
