    He’s not everybody’s cup of tea and his contribution wasn’t what anyone - the player himself included, I’d guess - would have wanted, but it is another striker in the door which we really did need. He had one great bit of play (I think it was v County in the 3-3 game) where he linked up with Gent to get Wilkinson in on goal and score, so there is something to him. I hope SK can work on him to get a bit more from him and if, as is rumoured, we are now paying a lower fee than previously, it’s certainly worth a go to see if he can contribute. You have to assume he had no future at Barnsley and as he had played for us he could not be sent elsewhere on loan. Let’s hope Oli Mk2 works out positively for us.

    MK2 cannot be any worse than MK1...

    I largely agree on the assumption we've cut the wage contribution as rumoured...but unless Bair or Vale get injured,the really shouldn't be seeing much game time.

    Shaw isn't worth any paycheck. This insanity is indicative of how the club is being run.
