Works well in rugby league ,especially for professional fouls (pulling back shirt and holding on.)
A trial is to be introduced which will involve players being sent to a sin bin for 10 mins for certain infringements, starting with dissent (not by parachute).
Here's the article.

Perhaps another thing for VAR to be involved with, was he disrespecting the ref giving him the finger or was he picking his nose, difficult decision this.

Only problem is Alf in football there is a. Differing opinion every week on pull backs and fouls - example Gary Neville comments against City in our first game - yes he’s pulling him and stopped but let go just in time - it wont work in football till they stop the corrupt cheating
They can't cope with red and yellow cards as it is, I can only imagine that it's just going to lead to more cock ups, confusion and time wasting, especially time wasting as the team a man down tries every trick in the book, and no doubt some new ones, to run the clock down, and is there going to be another official counting the time down, or will that be left to the 4th official, on top of all the other nonsense he's supposed to be overseeing ?
At least UEFA have got something right for once, they've told the hypocritical Arab countries demanding that the Israeli national team be banned to feck off. Good for them, the Camel Drivers are probably shocked, they bought off FIFA easily enough, but it seems UEFA are not to be bought.

Having watched Aleksander Cerefin's mental breakdown on TV yesterday it just confirmed my long held view that EUFA are not fit for purpose.
This clown pre-judged the outcome of 115 (?) separate charges against Manchester City, rambles like a paranoid maniac and supports Israel and it's commitment to genocide. Like you say mon ami, "F*ck him right off".
Like I said mon ami, they got something right FOR ONCE. It's a rarity.
Details of the Blue Card scheme to be released today, at least they won't be used in the Euros, another decision they've got right. Apparently the trials in lower level football have been succesful, but lower level football does not have VAR. What happens if a player gets 10 minutes and then there is a 3/4 minute VAR hold up, does the ten minute clock keep ticking ? What happens if there is then a 3 minute serious injury hold up, does the clock keep ticking ?
I'll be intrigued to see the details later today, if this doesn't turn out to be yet another VAR type shambles I'll show my arse in Burton's window.
I think it is ludicrous. Like too much of life, football is over-regulated. It was not perfect back in the day, but it flowed. It is going to be more like sports that stop and start every 5 minutes with reviews, VAR interventions as well as the usual stoppages for players fouled and are on the point of death. The PL is in danger of becoming unwatchable.
To say that the game is being ruined is an understatement.
Dissent - yellow card. Second offence, including dissent, red card. If a change is necessary, what about advancing a free kick 10 yards for dissent?
Insane regulation will kill the game as it destroys every other aspect of life it touches. Everyday there is some other news of madness going on its tiring now to live here as experience collective insanity.
