I think another routine dope test is in order for TheBlackHorse.

I do agree, both have done well there considering but as I’ve always said it’s such a specialised position far and few players can play it well.
There maybe a case for it if we play a team that’s really gonna sit back at home but it’s hard to argue playing players in their right positions.

If teams sit back (and lots of teams do) then how would this system deal with that situation.

Well with only 3 at the back and attacking wingbacks it’s going to give you a bit more width and more players going forward. I would probably stick to last nights and make it work as our players are more suited to it.

When we played Gillingham only 5 days ago we completely ran out of ideas on how to break them down. I agree that a back 4 better suits our players but will it help us to get the ball in the net?

I think that was just one of those games, scoring goals isn’t a problem for us, we all seem shocked now if we don’t score or only score one.

Playing wingbacks didn't work under Williams? Really? Did you miss last season?

I know your answer will be "it only worked because the opposition were so poor" but it undoubtedly worked brilliantly. We scored shedloads of goals and conceded very few. It wasn't so good this season against better opposition, but it still got us in a playoff position.

Just posting this here in case anyone’s not seen it - great angle for Jodi’s firs5 assist last night:

That piece of skill to beat the third defender is “cheat code” stuff - truly like something from a computer game.

Who was the last great winger we had? Cal Roberts before his injury? Not sure who qualifies as the last tricky winger before Cal.
