Best Back 5 Performance in Forever

I am struggling to think of a better back 5 performance (goalie + back 4) in recent times when the back 5 are expected to start the attacks. Cameron is better suited to LB than CB, Baldwin is becoming consistently classy and the 2 new recruits gave us energy, physicality and decent positional sense.

Maybe the keystone cops defence approach has finally had its day!

It never had its day. It was just some one dimensional coach who thought otherwise...Like his short corners that resulted in a goal, 15min after the event... Anyone who was taken in with that rubbish....Yeh well...

It works when your personnel is streets ahead of the opposition, a la most of last season.

Funny how we still take short corners.

we did take some longer ones, but mostly short corners. I wasn't counting, but, clearly short corners are not just the obsession of LW.

Personally I think mixing it up a little makes sense, being less predictable. Although short corners bring more goals it can't hurt to keep the opposition guessing from time to time.
