After a huge improvement over the last few months Furlong now reverting to type, awful defending

Gave Ipswich their first goal and then today with poor marking. Exactly the same thing!

Southampton are a decent side and with a win here putting them back to second place are definitely up for it but we aren't helping ourselves by losing possession too easily, too many sloppy balls and allowing ourselves to be penned in. All looking very disjointed so far but waiting until the second half to start playing is leaving it too late. Hopefully Fellows might come on to try and inspire things a bit

I know that I keep banging this drum but why do our full backs both keep getting sucked into the middle which often leads to players being free on the far post?

Certainly knocking on the door in the last 5 minutes or so but the ref isn't helping us either and looks like we should have had a penalty there

Clear hand ball!! Asante needs to be quicker in front of goal. Would bring on Weiman now especially with Asante being booked.

Because Tip both Townsend and Furling awful players and it shows against quality teams. The Saints goal was exactly the same as last weeks - not marking your man!

We were awful for the first half an hour but got back into the game for the last fif**** minutes and were unlucky not to equalise. Probably would have had a penalty had there been VAR.
