The Golds when they owned Birmingham City tried to sell St Andrews, when they could not, they tried to build a casino at the ground. Money money money.
They eventually bought West Ham, sold a footballing cathedral Upton Park, then moved to Stratford, renting i think.
And pocketed a fortune.
Ditto, goodbye abbey stadium, breeze block shack near Mildenhall.
