it is a song that certainly brings back fond memories. However !, it does not take away from the fact that it is one God awful song !!!

Must admit it wouldn't make my playlist, but you can't fault Jimmy Willan's devotion to the cause. He also did a Euro 96 Three lions anthem tribute called '2 Pies on the shirt'. When I was looking that up I discovered he also wrote a Jimmy and Jack song in aid of the statue fund which I had never heard before:
