It did not appear to be the case at the Player of the Year dinner two days after we had won the Championship at Ochilview.
Both Nelms and Keyes never uttered a word at the dinner and left after the end of their meal.

They wouldn't want to be in the same room as fans for too long, we're beneath them as I'm sure you know.

Don't know many clubs where the fans and the owners are big buddies. Come to think of it, don't know many companies where the bosses are buddies with their employees or their customers.
Maybe it's just the way things are?

They're not our bosses though. In fact the opposite could be argued although not by me, I see us as their clients.

They don't do enough to take the supporters along b cram......well Nelmsy dosent.

I don't need a rent a quote style caretaker but it would be nice if he wasn't such a cauld fish.

I don't think he thinks fans are that important...(just a tolerated nuisance)...if we were getting livvy style attendances I don't think it wud bother him too much.

To be fair I think a lot of owners/ caretakers end up like that.....they don't want to it's just the criticism eventually wears them Doon......thompson over the road, Aberdeen guy, I think the Marrs to a certain extent, Boyle at mwell, mercer at hearts...endless list.

But I don't think Nelmsy has ever had much connection with supporters.

He's always got on with certain supporters who know how to say yes. They get allocated special privileges including free tickets or entry to every game - but they must be high up in the DSA to qualify.
