Its heartbreaking as a lifelong supporter to see some of the players who now wear our shirts,i can now understand how older DFC fans felt when they went from the likes of Gilzean,Ure and Penman to Glennie,Kidd and McGeachie.

I fairness, he's very good defensively, solid and does try to be positive while limited, the pitch is terrible too

Said this months ago. Poor distribution and rarely ever tries to take a man on. He's forever turning back.

His weakness is when he gets the ball when we are in possession far from the opposition box. His defending is quite good and his crosses are too maybe next a form thing for him right now.

Fair comment. In saying that. We don't play him as a wingback, he doesn't have pace or guile. Should we be expecting him to try to beat players? The turning back thing might be as some have said, lack of movement from the players that should be losing defenders and screaming for the ball.
He doesn't shirk a tackle or header, which is a plus point I suppose.
In saying that (again) In his welcoming interview, he said he was happy that JG was going to give him a place in his preferred position (midfield) Now... that coming from a player that can't pass wind properly geez me the fear.
Freeman is more attacking minded, and will try to take a player on, fair dooz, but, he is woeful at being in the correct defending position at the right time.
If I had to choose just now, it would be Grimmy all day long, until we can upgrade.
